About this property
Comfortable, recently built self-contained cabin with R/C air conditioning and lovely sea views over American River from the deck. Ideal for short-stay worker on the Island, a single person is preferred, though the cabin accommodates a couple, with a surcharge on the weekly rent. For longer term stays (3-6 months), a discount on the weekly rental may also be considered. Kitchenette with appliances (air fryer, kettle, toaster, induction hotplate, fridge) seating area, double bed, nicely appointed bathroom, small outside deck. Please note washing machine and internet to be supplied. Other amenities can be negotiated, eg a television. American River is a peaceful haven notable for its birdlife: pelicans and seabirds, rare glossy black cockatoo colony, a semi-permanent koala resident in adjacent trees, Tamar wallabies, kangaroos and echidnas.

Maximum number of guests 2. No visitors please. No pets due to wildlife and small size of cabin. Absolutely no smoking, vapes or drugs of any kind, not even outside. American River is a peaceful location, and neighbours are reasonably close, no loud music. Please note tiger snakes live in this habitat, though none have been seen close to the house, guests should be aware. Flies can be a problem, please keep the sliding door closed! There is no general store in American River, tenant will need a vehicle.
