Yes. EzyFlats Pty Ltd holds Real Estate Agency licence RLA 346573 in South Australia. Licensed real estate agency services — including residential tenancy agreement preparation and bond lodgement with Consumer and Business Services — are available only for SA properties. In other states EzyFlats is not a real estate agency, and you choose between two pathways: (1) a state-compliant Residential Tenancy Agreement generated via our Digital Document Service, where you remain the principal and lodge the bond directly with the relevant state Bond Authority yourself; or (2) a short-stay rental agreement between host and renter, with EzyFlats facilitating the booking, agreement, payments, and security deposit handling under our terms.
Every tenant on EzyFlats undergoes triple verification: government-issued ID check, documented proof of income, and reference checks from previous landlords. Additionally, tenants must pay the $350 service fee before they can book — ensuring only serious, committed applicants reach you.
When a tenant books, an automatic rent subscription is created through Stripe. The first month's rent is held in trust until 3 days after move-in, then released directly to your bank account. Ongoing rent is charged automatically every fortnight and deposited without you having to chase a single payment.
